Self-Contained, Self-Actuating, Positive Operation
The QR-E valve utilizes Ogontz’s proven self actuating design in which hydrocarbon wax automatically opens the valve before the freezing point of water. Prior to your system freezing, the QR-E fully opens to provide for system drainage.
Automatic Freeze Protection
Designed for freeze protection, the QR-E is a tempered fluid-sensing valve. The QR-E sensing the fluid temperature and snaps fully open at 37°F, remaining open until manually reset.
